From hosting and participating in health and community fairs, to sponsoring mobile laundry/shower events, to conducting the community's annual homeless Point-in-Time Count, HealthNet Gaston hosts and attends events throughout Gastonia and its surrounding counties - Cleveland, Gaston and Lincoln. HealthNet Gaston is proud to sponsor the Senior Health Insurance Information Program. Gaston County's SHIIP Coordinator helps individuals navigate accessing Medicaid and Medicare with confidence. Offering free, unbiased counseling, HealthNet Gaston's SHIIP Coordinator works with individuals to understand their health care options, prescription drug plans, and other cost-saving resources. Availability of SHIIP coincides with Medicaid and Medicare open enrollment so check back for more information about 2026 in the Upcoming Events section above or click on the Contact Us tab at the top of the page to receive more information.
